LITTLE SEEDLINGS PLAYGROUP

All parents are welcome to bring their pre-school aged children to the OLC Little Seedlings Playgroup. Our playgroup is focused on socialisation, play and fun activities, as a means of preparing the children for Pre Kindy and Kindergarten.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the children and parents to meet and establish relationships prior to their schooling years. Everyone is welcome from 0-3 years.

Details are:

• Time: Mondays 915am – 10.30am
• Place: OLC Kindergarten classroom
• Bring: A water bottle and a gold coin donation for consumables. Although we do not stop for a designated snack time, parents are most welcome to bring their children something to eat. A hat may be required on sunny days.

During our session:

• Please register on the sign in sheet in the Kindy Classroom when you arrive.
• Have a little free play with your children whilst we wait for everyone to arrive.
• We will then gather on the mat for a welcome song and games.
• The Seedlings can then choose from a variety of activities, craft and have an opportunity to freely explore the kindy classroom environment.
• If the weather is nice feel free to explore the kindy outside play area.
• Parents are asked to engage in activities, supervising their children.
• We would really appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes at the end of the session to help pack up.
• We will finish our Little Seedlings session with a short story time and our good-bye song.
• Please take all crafts and creations home with you.
